AugieDogie Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 Ok, this is for a brand new setup. When i first start the Unraid Server my transfer speeds are great! (60 M/s or so)However if I let the machine sit awhile and I try to transfer anything to it I get sub M/s speeds. I tried hitting the "spin up drives" button first and nothing. I have tried with an empty cache drive and still the same. Ive looked though my Bios settings and turned off anything relating to sleep/stanby modes. My normal file transfer tool is Terracopy but i have also just tried with explorers usually click drag method. Again bother these work great for a few hours after startup or reboot of the server. Big files, small files it makes no Difference Again i'm getting great speeds for a while then super slow.
trurl Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 Before rebooting and after you experience the problem, go to Tools Diagnostics and post the complete diagnostics zip.

AugieDogie Posted February 7, 2018 Author Posted February 7, 2018 yes ive been seeing that, i have the Unraid servers monitor right here and it says that right now. towertest login: Disabling IRQ #16 so, how do i fix this?

AugieDogie Posted February 7, 2018 Author Posted February 7, 2018 Ok, Ill have to try and find one of my spare nics. Bios update wont happen for this old motherboard and thank you for the help
AugieDogie Posted February 9, 2018 Author Posted February 9, 2018 quick up date. I disabled the realtek lan port on my motherboard and used the intel port instead. So far so good. No irq problems for 24 hours.
AugieDogie Posted February 9, 2018 Author Posted February 9, 2018 well. I spoke too soon. Now I'm getting random reboots every several hours. no IRQ message though.... towertest-diagnostics-20180209-1438.zip
