Need a server...and stuff.

Hi--I already have the hard drives (SATA WD 1GB Green).  I just a need a system that will permit me to watch my movies on 4 tvs located in various rooms around the house.  The wiring is in-place due to computers and TiVo.  I just need the box.  Something that will keep itself cool, not make too much noise...with 16-bays.  It will not be used as a workstation.  What else....  I do not have central air and the average temp is mid-70's.  (Hotter in the summer; I do turn on the a/c.)  I would like the ability for the CPU to control the various fans as needed and, if not, for me to manually turn them down/up as needed to help control noise levels.  And it is possible there will be times when all 4 tvs/media centers and maybe a computer or two will simultaneously pull a movie.

 

I hope that is enough to solicit some suggestions.

You can build one hell of an unraid box for $1500. Check out the wiki like prostuff said, or look into one of the pre-built (http://lime-technology.com/products/md-1510-server) options if you don't want to do it yourself
