November 7, 201015 yr Author NAS, perhaps you should clarify... adding ext3 just means the ability to mount an ext3 drive under unRAID outside the array, not to use ext3 natively as the underlying filesystem on array disks. exactly. this request and vote is simply for ext3 fs support for mounting usb drives outside of the array as per the OT.

December 3, 201015 yr Author Ext 3 etc has been removed again from unRAID. If you need it your only option is tp try and find RC1-4 and then not upgrade
January 3, 201115 yr Author Can i request that 5.0beta3 have ext3 included again. Currently I am stuck on a 4.6 RC as the only version which has this feature which I have grown accustomed to.
January 3, 201115 yr is EXT4 available? I'm not expecting unRAID to format it, but I would like to use ext4 for an SSD Cache drive and it's my understanding that EXT4 supports the trim command.
