[6.4.1] Using single drive outside of the pool

Featured Replies

Hey all,

Decided I want to setup a single drive outside of the pool for torrent downloads since my array cannot keep up with my internet connection. If i recall there is a plugin i can get to use a drive outside of the pool but my question is this,

The drive i want to use was in my old unraid server. My plan is to just yank it out of the old server and put it in the new one. Is unraid going to have any issues because it detects the old drive was part of an unraid server or will i just be able to wipe it and set it up as a single drive outside of the pool?

Thanks but that wasn't actually my question. I was curious if the drive would cause any issues because it was part of a different unraid server and the new server has issues with it because of that
