February 18, 20188 yr I have 2 VM's running and Plex along with SabNZB. 1x vm cctv recording other vm general system plex streaming to 1 TV sabnzb running The system is Ryzen X1800 and 32gb ram. It was rock solid fine for weeks now i keep getting pauses for a few seconds and then it runs ok before doing it again, 10 minutes or an hour later. February 18, 20188 yr Community Expert I looked through your syslog and did not see anything. Describe in more detail what you mean by 'pauses'. That could be useful. You could also try this as it provides a bit more usable memory for the OS. https://lime-technology.com/forums/topic/58855-regular-out-of-memory-problems/#comment-577424 No Guarantees but it has helped a lot of folks with all sorts of nagging issues.
February 18, 20188 yr Author Hi Frank, Thanks for taking the time to look, I have changed the following. Disk Cache 'vm.dirty_background_ratio' (%): to 1% Disk Cache 'vm.dirty_ratio' (%): to 2% I will restart now and see how it goes and keep you updated.
