cyberspectre Posted February 19, 2018 Posted February 19, 2018 Hey UNRAIDers. I have two VMs running concurrently all the time: Windows for gaming, and Ubuntu for everything else. Both have a dedicated nvidia graphics card, and these are fine for sending audio to my TV. But my computer is connected to my home theater (processor, multiple amps, etc.) via 7.1 optical. And, while I could use two sound cards and run separate cables, I'd rather everything be routed through PulseAudio in Ubuntu. This would be ideal. Has anyone had success doing something like this? My thought was to run gmediarender in Ubuntu and stream to it via "Stream What You Hear" in Windows. But this doesn't seem to work. I can stream to gmediarender just fine from my Android phone, but I get nothing from Windows. Thanks!
