platyskill Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 so i checked the fix common isuea and it said on the 9th and 10th there were over 1000 login attemps..now i was trying a few diffrent backup progrms i'm hoping thats whjat it is.ideas?
trurl Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 You haven't given us anything to go on. I am skeptical of the idea that backup programs are trying to login to your server. Go to Tools - Diagnostics and post the complete zip.

It's a fresh syslog for a few minutes ago. You'll have to see if you get an alert again then do a diagnostics. Is your server open to the internet (ssh or web)? If it is this isn't a great idea. EDIT: Saw you said you rebooted above, so you'll have to wait and see if you get failed logins again.
