August 3, 201015 yr Well my order from Norco has arrived with the replacement SAS backplanes, SAS cables and 2 x Supermicro AOC-SASLP-MV8 cards. However the Supermicro AOC-SASLP-MV8 card have only been supplied with half height brackets. Does anyone know where I can pick up some full height ones from? Preferably from the UK (The order from Norco has taken nearly 3 weeks to get here)
August 3, 201015 yr mine came with both brackets in the box... Scan supply Supermicro stuff, might be worth asking them.

Think it was about £50 including the £13 parcelforce added on. Bit expensive, and I probably should have bought the cards and cables from here, but I thought I would order it all from once place and Norco are the only people who sell the replacement SAS backplanes. Should make the case a fair bit tidier though.
August 4, 201015 yr Author Supermicro's phone # and the full height bracket part number Excellent thanks. I have already emailed Supermicro, but they have yet to get back to me. I have actually fitted the cards (and replacement SAS backplanes) now and they are running perfectly even without the PCI brakets. They fit in securely enough to not fall out. One mistake I made though was to fit the mini SAS connectors upside down as they physically fit both ways. Soon sorted that and the system is up and running.
August 4, 201015 yr SuperMicro refused to help me when I called them, I had to go through eWiz. However, SuperMicro did help another forum member. So I guess it's a 50/50 for you

August 5, 201015 yr I should have been more clear. eWiz immediately agreed to help me, I'll just have to wait until they get their shipment of brackets from SuperMicro. So I'm guessing that will be several weeks from now, I don't know for sure. The other forum member was just lucky that SuperMicro agreed to ship them a bracket the next day. I really don't mind waiting, it's no big deal.
