I did. playing a 15Mbps 4K HEVC Main 10 video to a 10mbps 1080p takes ffmpeg only about 12% on one core accdg to top inside the container, 50% accdg to the host.

Are you guys using VAAPI instead of QuickSync?

I chose QuickSync jn Emby docker. Is this wrong?

Just did that. Unfortunately, the same.

 

For the record, when I initially got the processor, I immediately put the modprobe line in the go config file. I changed emby settings to transcode with QuickSync, and I believe it worked for 1x. The CPU utilization was very low. I was so happy about it :-). Then I left. I tried it once again next time, and it no longer works.

 

That's when I started to post here what else needs to be done. What could possibly be the problem? Could it be the emby docker?
