mkyb14
Odd problem here I can't seem to pin down. default page loads for the server IP. when clicking through the list of items on the main menu, some do not load at all. Dashboard (fail) Main (works) shares (works) Users (works Settings (works) Plugins (works) Docker (fails) VM (works) Apps (fails) Stats (Works) Tools (works) Cleared cache locally, tried multiple computers. same problem . Reboot the server, same problem. at a loss here since I can't access the docker tab to make updates. Quote Link to comment
trurl
Whitelist your server in your adblocker. Quote Link to comment
mkyb14
i disabled everything within PFSense, no adblock, reverse proxy etc. it's all off. Nothing in the browser itself either... that's why I'm at a loss as to why certain tabs don't work . Quote Link to comment

trurl
Seems to be having a problem reading flash, and communicating with UPS. USB controller? Quote Link to comment
mkyb14
that shouldn't affect the webgui not working... i have it unplugged doing some maintenance. Quote Link to comment

You unplugged the unraid USB while the server is running? DON'T DO THAT. The consequences, beside what you are seeing now, is that the array will be unable to write the state of the array to the flash at shutdown, so you will be forced to do a parity check on next array start. The usb must stay connected while the server is running. Quote Link to comment
mkyb14
no that's the usb for power APC.... not the file system usb. Quote Link to comment

mkyb14
I don't get where you're seeing in the log that it's the flash? Restored USB cable for UPS, and below it would appear to be an issue with timeout... but only on the tabs listed above... everything else functions correctly. mkyb14
this is border line comical... are the logs now telling me my registration key isn't valid? Diagnostics area for registration says it's registered... so now outside of the dashboard and docker tabs not working, I'm not sure what is going on. Quote Link to comment
Squid
Try restarting in safe mode. See if at least the dashboard comes back. Quote Link to comment

trurl
Do you have a backup of your flash? If not you can normally download a backup from the webUI. Main - Boot Device - Flash - Flash Device Settings - Flash backup. Then maybe shut down, put flash in PC, checkdisk. Quote Link to comment
mkyb14
what's interesting is if I stop the array, i can now access the dashboard... docker of course you can't until the array is online. I can do that, was just hoping I couldn't have to go unrack the server and get the USB (remote) from location. Quote Link to comment
mkyb14
ok, finally had a chance to do a check disk, no issues. am I the only person having this problem of menu items not working? usb 3.0 16gb sandisk mini (travel style) -plugged into usb 2 hub on an super micro x11 motherboard.. Spritzup
I've been seeing that exact same error in my logs, but not to the same degree as you are. It most often times out at CA, and then throws the same error. Were you ever able to pin down what the cause was? ~Spritz Quote Link to comment
mkyb14
I have not... I pulled the usb, checkdsk... rebooted many times... it just randomly started working... As for hardware, nothing in my logs would say otherwise, just the unraid throwing errors. Quote Link to comment
yippy3000
I am getting the same timeout issue ever since I updated to 6.5. I am unable to load the Docker or Fix Common Problems pages. Everything else works Quote Link to comment
