March 10, 20188 yr Hey all, Since I'm running into some issues with UnRAID, I thought this might be a good place to ask for some assistance. I have a server setup with UnRAID and am trying to create a Windows 10 VM with one Virtual Disk. The problem being that during the installation process, there is no disk I can install to. I have followed the documentation and have set up the VirtIO ISO and have installed the drivers in the correct order (Balloon, NetKVM, vioserial, viostor) by selecting the driver's folder and selecting the correct architecture's map (x64). The first three drivers are found by the Windows installer and can be installed. The fourth (viostor), however, is found by the Windows installer, but can only be loaded when the checkmark for only showing compatible drivers is unchecked. After unchecking the checkbox and installing the driver, the disk still doesn't show up. I have gone through this process with many VirtIO versions, including the latest and oldest ones, but without any success. My UnRAID version is 6.4.1. I have attached the configuration file of the VM. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I really want to make UnRAID work. Windows10.xml
March 10, 20188 yr The xml shows that you haven't given the Windows template any vdisk at all to install to.
March 10, 20188 yr Author Well, that's odd. I'm quite certain I have created a VDisk. I'll have to check it tomorrow. Thank you for the advice!
March 11, 20188 yr Author It seems like I messed up the disk creation during the installation. I fixed it, and now I can install Windows. Thanks a lot @Squid!
