Procedure to rebuild cache pool

Disk 1 of my 2 disk cache pool was disabled due to cabling issues.  When I secured the lose cable the disk was labeled as unformatted.  It is currently unassigned (I didn't format) while the cache disk 2 rebuilds.  What is the correct procedure to reestablish the 2 disk pool?

    The safest way is to wipe it, you can use blkdiscard if it's an SSD, and then re-add it to the pool.
