March 14, 20188 yr I got this message after upgrade to 6.4.1. Any reason why I didn't get it before? Obviously this has been going for a long time. Now I understand what was the cause to my torrent client errors. I didn't search for the cause because it seemed to overcome the errors shortly afterwards. I read in the forum, and I understand that it's probably a cabling issue. Any chance to know in which disk out of the five that are part of the cache the problem exists? SMART log attached. Thanks. The one you posted the SMART report for, unless there are more.
March 14, 20188 yr Author Thanks. Should I replace cables of disks with low CRC count (1, 13, 16) , or only watch that this number is stable? Edited March 14, 20188 yr by Gico
March 14, 20188 yr Community Expert Acknowledge the current values, if notifications are enable you'll get a warning it they increase, I would say a single CRC error once a year it's OK, any more than that there's a problem, usually the SATA cable.
