I have two unRAIDs at home, a main server and a backup server. 

 

When I pre-clear a disk, does it matter what version of unRAID I am running?  For example, if I preclear under 6.4.0, will that still function correctly if I add the disk to a later version of unRAID?  I'd hate to have to pre-clear a disk a second time when I update unRAID, but certainly will if necessary.

 

Also, if preclear a disk in one machine (it's much easier to add and remove drives in the newer build) is they any reason that wouldn't work in the backup server?
