March 15, 20188 yr I replaced a failed disk yesterday and followed the instrucitons here: https://lime-technology.com/wiki/Replacing_a_Data_Drive The rebuild recently finished and I recieved a notification: Event: unRAID Parity sync / Data rebuild Subject: Notice [TOWER] - Parity sync / Data rebuild finished (0 errors) Description: Duration: 18 hours, 16 minutes, 48 seconds. Average speed: 121.6 MB/s Importance: normal But when I go into the interface, the new drive is shown as Unmountable and Array Operations prompts me to format it. Is this because the previous disk had a status of "Unmountable"? Is it OK to format it and I'll be back in business (I had previously emptied it using UnBalance).
