Unable to update plugins

Featured Replies

I'm getting an out of space error when I try to update plugins, but none of my disks are completely full, to include the cache and the boot drive, so I don't understand what the issue is.  This is the log from trying to update plex.  Does anyone know what is going on?  Also, when I ssh'd in, I was unable to "ls" the contents of: /var/lib/docker, it said "permission denied".  Is this normal?

You are updating Dockers, not plugins.  Your Docker image is full.  Go to Settings->Docker, stop the Docker, and increase the vDisk size of your Docker image.

Ok, thank you very much.  That did fix that.  But, I have two plugins that won't update as well.  Should I just remove them and add them back?

plugin: updating: community.applications.plg
plugin: /tmp/plugins/community.applications.plg does not exist, check first

plugin: /tmp/plugins/community.applications.plg does not exist, check first

That would probably be the easiest.

yes, that fixed it.  Thank you.

I just updated to unRAID 6.5.0 recently and have noticed now that one of my plugins needs to be updated "Community Applications (2018.04.08)" and one of my plugins needs to be removed "Advanced Buttons (2017.07.07).  When I click on uninstall for Advanced Buttons, the site appears to be removing it according to the dialog and refreshes itself, but the plugin remains showing. A similar situation appears when appearing when I click on "Update all Plugins" and the Community Applications" plugin appears to be updated according to the dialog shown, but after refreshing the site, the Community Application plugin remains at it's previous version.

I tried rebooting unRAID 6.5.0 and the situation remains, I'm unable to update or remove a plugin.

Please advise.

Delete advanced.buttons.plg from config/plugins on the flash drive and reboot. You'll be in business

Thank you,

Any suggestions on why I'm unable to Update "Community Applications" plugin?

Not without diagnostics. I suspect the OP might still have some issues too but since nobody ever asked for diagnostics we will just have to wait until he fills his docker image again.

And you really should have started your own thread, but since this one seems abandoned by the OP, let's just keep it here.

Go to Tools - Diagnostics and post the complete diagnostics zip.

First thought is because advanced buttons was there.

Diagnostics attached as requested.  I now have two plugins which need updating.  I tried to update them all with "Update all plugins" and individually.  Dialog indicates plugin is updated, but after refresh of the Web GUI, I still note the same original "need to be updated" plugins.  This also occurs after a reboot of unRaid 6.5.0.

Plugins now are: Community Applications (2018.04.08), and Tips and Tweaks (2018.03.21)

You didn't delete advanced buttons from the flash drive and reboot

Thank you!

I updated unRaid to 6.5.1 which required a reboot anyway.  After the reboot, I was able to update my plugins.
