First VM is up but having some peformance issues

Featured Replies

New to Unraid and VM and was able to get a windows 10 VM running but the performance is not great. a short list of things I am trying to get working better or at all.

Curser can not be seen when using the Passthrough mouse and when using the mouse through the VNC it gets lost on webpages and doesn't always align correctly. passthrough keyboard works.

can only get video through VNC, If I try the onboard graphics or the GPU (GTX 980ti) I get no video output.

Screen resolution in VNC is only 2560x600, I would like get 3440x1440. Is this just the limitation of the video drivers?

Not really sure where to start looking.. Any help would be great.

did you follow a guide or went in commando?

I followed Spaceinvaders Guide and even though some things are a bit dated I am pretty sure I got everthing set the same, I also watched Jon's Guide and both of the Gaming VM set up guides that Space invader has on his channel to see if I could get anything more from them.  but I may be missing something here.

I didn't not install splashtop desktop but that sound more preference vs required.

I want ot eventually get a couple VM's running, one for Gaming, one for general use and one for streaming but wanted to get basics down first.
