X299 PLX PEX chips

Featured Replies

Hi Just wondering if anyone is able to comment about how boards with PLX PEX chips behave within unraid?

For example on the Asus WS x299 sage.

And if anyone is able to comment on the IOMMU groupings for that board

Appreciate the help

I have the Asus X99-E-WS which uses PLX PEX chips, each PCIE slot/device is in its own IOMMU group.*

*Some onboard devices share a group but anything useful like LAN port 2, one of the USB controllers and onboard sound are in their own.
