March 17, 20188 yr I've tried posting about this in the KVM forum, but have not gotten any response for a couple of days, and i'd really like to get this fixed/working. I have created a new VM in unRAID, passed thru my intel GPU and matching audio to the Windows 10 VM. This is working fine, windows runs great, and the video is good on the monitor, but there is no audio. I've tried installing the drivers several times. removed the Intel Display Audio from the sound, video and game controllers section of Device manager and removed the driver. I also removed the Intel HD 4600 Graphics driver, and deleted from system. When I do this, the Intel Display Audio disappears and something like High Definition Audio replaces it. It then shows an audio device in the Sound section of Control Manager, but that audio never works (can't remember the error). I've tried passing thru the other sound card shown/offered in the VM setup screen, an Intel 9 Chipset Family HD Audio Controller. That didn't give usable audio in the VM either. I've tried all drivers, installation, removal, resetting combination i can think of. I simply cannot get the Audio working in the VM. I suspect it probably has something to do with some Virtio Driver not being installed (Intel Chipset equivalent?), but I have no yellow exclamations in Device Manager, and don't know what other 'drivers' I would need to install to make this work. I'm really hoping someone has some ideas on how to get the audio working for me.
