Compiling and inserting a new ethernet driver (Aquantia NIC)

Featured Replies

I am struggling to upgrade a network driver and I hope that this is the right place to come for help.  I have an Aquantia multi-gig NIC (AQN-107) that is not working properly in Unraid.  With the same cards in my Windows machines, a driver update has gotten them working and now that a new linux driver has been released (2.0 vs 1.5.345 in the stock build) I was hoping to build and install it.

I have some rudimentary experience with linux and drivers but it has all been with Ubuntu and more or less automated installs.  I cant seem to make heads or tails of how to get this done in slackware and was hoping someone would be able to reach out with some help.

Thanks
