Unable to access a folder within a Share via Windows

Featured Replies

I have 2 unRAID servers joined to AD with shares of the same name on both servers.  Both folders are basically identical and contain copies of the same files.

For some reason I am unable to access one folder in each share on each server.  The folders are not the same in either share.

Very odd, has anyone come across this?

Both unRAID servers have gone through many upgrades of both software and hardware over an extended period, starting I think from version 3.

IT sounds like you have this problem:

Basically, SMB only allows one connection/user from each client.  You can get two with a bit of trickery.  AND I have never found a way to logoff from one connection without rebooting the client.

Sorry forgot to come and read if there were any replies, I have fixed the problem by using the new permissions tool on all the drives.
