Go to first unread post doesn't work on thread with large images

Featured Replies

This isn't a big problem but it is annoying, when you click on go to to first unread post, browser correctly focus on that post, but if it's on a thread with lots or large images, and as they load, the unread post goes further and further down, you then need to scroll down a little (or a lot) to find the new post, this is an IPS problem as it works correctly on other forums, e.g., on Xenforo it  goes to the unread post, if there are images that post will also go down as they are loaded, but once all is loaded the browser again focus on the first unread post.

I've been suffering in silence on this issue as well.

This issue isn't as annoying as the unread posts not showing up in the unread filter, but still worth trying to address if possible.

Yep, that's much worse, and still happening practically daily, when I notice, I'm sure it happens a lot without me noticing.

I see it a number of times every day.

Are you talking about the "Unread Content" link on the breadcrumbs line?

In my case it's a filter I use. Since others see the same effects, I assume it's a common issue not directly related to my filter.
