March 24, 20188 yr Hello everyone,  like many people I am having some trouble passing my GPU through to a windows guest. Passthrough works like a charm with an Ubuntu guest, and the Windows VM recognises the card. I followed the instructions here to patch the Nvidia driver, also adding the `hidden` kvm option in the xml and trying to enable MSI via the registry as described here. Still, the device manager shows me an Error 43 message, which I take to mean the Nvidia driver noticed it is running inside a VM and shut down. I also created an issue on the patcher repository, asking for help. More details of my setup can be looked up there, but most of them are "I am running stock unRaid"^^  I assume there are a lot of questions coming in about VGA passthrough and apologise for adding to the pile, but so far I haven't found any more resources that could help me.  Thanks everyone in advance for any help you can give Â
