No option to edit xml in vm manager, Unraid 6.5.0

Featured Replies

I've been looking around and there are a ton of forum posts for GPU passthrough, but none that explain why I have no option to edit the xml of VMs in the manager.

Can anyone help, please?

Ah, criminey. I swear I found the answer not two minutes after posting. My apologies.

The solution for me was the option on the right side of the vm manager (EDIT: after selecting edit on the VM) that says form view, I toggled it and *poof* xml!

Thanks. I went through the same process.

"Form View" seems like an ill-conceived term. Hope they go back to calling it XML.

The XML View is called "XML View" when you move the toggle. The other view is called "Form View".

Thanks very much - this tricked me too. I was used to finding XML editor by clicking on the VM and selecting it. For those who wonder, you now click the VM, hit 'Edit' and then toggle XML view in the top right corner (where Basic/Advanced used to be).

Confusing.
