Despite being a complete 'technoilliterate' i HAVE managed to get a decent unRaid server up and running including dockers and a single Win10 vm. Credit to all the support received from members of the forum! But, i still do not, even at a basic level, understand how networking is handled across each of the component parts. I have no idea what 'host' or 'br0' or 'bridge' actually mean. Everything seems to be working locally but as i intend to do more i'm sure that i need an understanding of this. Are there any references available anywhere on the forum or any input from members? Thanks!

Edit ... i've just rechecked my system and dont seem to have 'br0' in the networking dropdown, just 'eth0'. Is this a problem?
