JonathanM
On the plus side, there are going to be some SUPER cheap 1080 nvidia cards available in a year or so. Quote Link to comment

That will need new fans and/or water cooling since the original fans have worn out from 24/7/365 full load. Quote Link to comment

kizer
To Bad you spend more money on building the Box and the power usage than you'll get back if you see any. Quote Link to comment
sentein
On a side note any GPU miners could use Kali & Hashcat as a side project. Not the intended use but if you forget your password might be worth the time.lol Quote Link to comment
Jcloud
I'd rather the miners be buying a board designed for their purpose, then buying 3-5 boards and running up the supply/demand-side cost for regular consumers, like what's happening to GPUs now. Quote Link to comment
NewDisplayName
If nothing bad happens, BTC will at some point be more and more worth, just because its capped. Think this way. Theoreticly you cant do "-", its just a matter of time. Edited April 3, 2018 by nuhll Quote Link to comment
Chris Pollard
I doubt anyone is mining BTC with graphics cards. Other coins are the way to go these days. Last time I looked payback was a couple months for a 1080 but I think coin prices have tanked since then. What I should have invested in was 1080's to resell, they have gone from £500 to £650 if you can get one. Quote Link to comment
