March 30, 20188 yr Can any experts let me know if this configuration will be able to run docker apps (particularly plex server/radarr/sonarr/sab). I built this 6 years ago and have no clue how. I have no Linux skills and need a solution that "just works". All items thru Newegg Canada. Can you suggest replacement items required to add some horsepower. I need something that will seamlessly be able to be swapped. March 30, 20188 yr Other than possibly wanting more RAM/Memory, this should run the dockers you mentioned just fine. For more horsepower, you would have to consider a new motherboard and cpu, which would probably require and update to RAM as well. The only seamless swap would be RAM. The limiting factor is the MB - https://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Product/Product_SPEC.aspx?DetailID=1120&CategoryID=1&DetailName=Feature&MenuID=24&LanID=0 It will accept an AMD Phenom II - https://www.google.com/search?client=opera&q=AMD+Phenom™+II+X6+Six-Core&sourceid=opera&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8 But that is where it tops out, and it looks like you'd have to buy something used (I didn't see anything new available). If you want to do the minimum possible - buy a used CPU from a reputable vendor on Ebay and upgrade your memory. My original Unraid server ran on the AMD Sempron 145 for a couple of years before my Plex use forced me to upgrade. The transcodes were killing the Sempron. I opted to move completely to Intel because - at that time - I didn't feel like AMD was a good enough value for my needs.
