April 4, 20188 yr Author ill have two 6 cores once i know its all alright as i would like to be able to host 2 or more virtual windows server 2012 r2 Machines one for hosting game servers and teamspeak and the other for some websites with IIS
April 4, 20188 yr i have no experience with 2U servers and passive CPU coolers - are they moving air with exhaust vents on the back? if so, then they will be very loud if you put some load on your CPUs..
April 4, 20188 yr Author the 2u case has 4 fans installed i am going to run them full speed as this machine will either been in the loft or a room away from everyone i didn't quite know what coolers would fit so went with passive ones
April 4, 20188 yr just make sure this server case has specially designed for passive CPU coolers. But, why not to choose 4U server case and use standard heat-sinks with fans?

Following your advice would you say the new Hardware in the image is Better also will Unraid Run with this hardware and be able to use virtualisation host if you know?
