how to connect UPS by RS232 serial connection

Hi, could someone help me to solve this issue? I bought APC Smart-UPS C 1500VA LCD 230V for my two unraid server and I connect one with USB and everything is alright it show all status but when I connect my second server I got lost communication using serial port the upscable is 940-0625A.

 

could someone tell how to solve it

Not familiar with that particular model. Are you trying to run 2 servers on the same UPS? The way many have done it with other UPS that only have a single connection is to configure the 2nd server to get the UPS status data over the network from the 1st server. Turn on Help on the UPS Settings page.

I have not done it with another unRAID server but only with my unRAID server as master and my Windows PC as slave.

 

Did you turn on help on that page like I suggested? There is also a link to the documentation on that page.
