April 4, 20188 yr I see this problem is common in upgrading to 6.5. Although none of the other threads seem to fix my issue. I have designated /mnt/cache/system/libvrt/libvrt.img as my image file. Although when I hit start it never creates the file and my VMs remain stopped. Anyone who can help? tower.zip
April 4, 20188 yr I haven't used my vm's for a while, I see now the default location for vm images has moved to /mnt/user/domains so move your disk image files to that location and they should show up. Currently in the process of moving them myself so I'm unable to confirm this at the moment though. Edit: Did not work just moving the vdisks for me, but I deleted the libvrt.img, updated the path for libvrt.img (to the same as default). It would not automatically create libvrt.img before I "updated" the path. I am pretty sure it is because of my setup though, haven't used VMs since unraid 6.1. Edited April 5, 20188 yr by Abnorm
April 4, 20188 yr Author Changing this to mnt/user/system/libvrt/libvrt.img does nothing. There are no files in either libvrt directory.
April 5, 20188 yr Point it at wherever your libvirt.img file is located. Note that it is libvirt not libvrt generally. A VM can't start if libvrt doesn't exist
