UPS System reports bad battery...already?

My UPS reported bad battery a month or so ago and I replaced both batteries.  Everything fine until today.  Just got a notice that its reporting the batteries are bad again?!? I can't believe that the batteries are bad already...  Thoughts?

    A few thoughts.

     

    Did you run the recalibration routine for your specific UPS?

     

    It's also possible the battery charge circuit in the UPS is failing.

     

    If you have a competent battery store close by, they should have the equipment to actually load test them, and tell you how much capacity they have compared to spec.
