We have option in plugin (force move of all files.. ) that run unraid mover with separate cron, in case enabled...

It is set to no and the cron for that is

20 4 1 * *

That shouldn't interfere with my cron of

* /60 * * * *

For the mover tuning schedule

Any idea why mover doesn’t seem to be moving? Linked are my settings. I definitely don’t think all my files are newer than 30 days. Thank you for any help.

no missunderstanding, assuming your system Share ist that huge then your setup looking ok so far.

then may post your log from mover tuning as its enabled already, it should tell something what is why happening, better speaking not happening in your case ;)

I feel pretty stupid, do you know how i check the logs? I can see they’re located in tmp but don’t actually know how to access them 😢 Thank you!

Do you have any ideas on how to fix my problem? It is still giving me the notification hourly and it is really annoying.

simply check your syslog, you enabled to also log there (to check whats happening)

advanced and may get better help, simply fetch the complete logs incl. diags from here (webui)

You need to post debug.zip

Or you can set notifications only when files moving

You need to enable logging and debug logging, then let plugin run some times and then post debug.zip

Also not sure why in syslog :

```move: 2910766 ? R 0:00 /bin/bash /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/ca.mover.tuning/age_mover start```
OK so for some reason enabling both logs disabled the notification... I have tried disabling logging before because of this issue but I have always had debug logging disabled and I don't know which one caused the fix but anyway it's fixed now. Weird way to fix it...
How do you run plugin by cron only?
In latest version I changed some stuff about posting to syslog when running by cli and button it was not working befor, but not sure how it related to your issue...
Okay, I downloaded the zip file and have the logs but is there a way to post them without exposing my IP address? I feel like that's bad but I dont know any better haha thank you!
if your WAN IP (external IP) would be in diags you are correct, but im not aware that there would be a external IP in diags, they are "masked", your internal LAN IP's are not interesting as they are not unique ;) like 10... 192... and so on.
So I restarted my NAS and I started getting the notifications again. I have tried all of these fixes to no avail
  1. Turning off notifications
  2. turning off logging
  3. changing mover type to rsync and back
  4. disabled plugin cron and added a user script with the command
  5. disabled plugins that I thought would interfere like unspin, folder caching, and RAM-disk for docker logs
  6. changed the cron time from 5 minutes to 10 minutes to 1 hour to 1 day and none of them fixed it
I have tried running it manually and no matter how many times I run it manually I can't get the notification to show up. It is also extremely inconsistent and random when the notification appears. I have attached the diagnostics zip file
ca.mover.tuning-debug-20260726-1834.zip
