My old Unraid PC died.  I will be taking my hard drives and moving them over to this system.  But before I buy this Server I wanted some thoughts from you guys as to if this was a decent system.  I run Unraid 6 and use Plex.  For plex I primarily use a few plugin channels and that's about it.  What do you guys think.  I am able to get the below server for $299.

Need a bit more info,

How many Dockers?

How many Plex Streams?

Any VMs?

I have the T20 using the E3-1225 v3 @ 3.20GHz and I really like it. However I ended up pulling out the processor and dropping it on a new board after months of tinkering with it. I had it running HandBrake for months currently my entire collection.

The case/motherboard only supports 4 drives and I had to find room for my current 10. The cooling is horrid and if you decide to pull out the motherboard into a new case you have to short some pins to trick the system to thinking the case is closed. As well if you decide you want to use the motherboard with a new power supply you have to find an adapter, which I did off Amazon to run with Dells specific power supply connections.

My system scores a 7200 on CPU Passmark, but I came from an Athlon that only scored 2000

Here is some more people talking the T30 on Reddit.

I have a similar powered system and have 12 dockers (7 constantly running) and about 3-4 Plex streams. Runs really well.
Can’t provide info re case though.

Hope your plans go well.
