daemonix
Hi all, I have the System below, and windows 10 passthrough worked with just one click! M/B: Supermicro - X11DPG-QT CPU: Intel® Xeon® Gold 6154 CPU @ 3.00GHz (DUAL CPU) HVM: Enabled IOMMU: Enabled Cache: 1152 kB, 18432 kB, 25344 kB Memory: 256 GB Single-bit ECC (max. installable capacity 9216 GB) Network: eth0: 1000 Mb/s, full duplex, mtu 1500 eth1: not connected Kernel: Linux 4.14.26-unRAID x86_64 OpenSSL: 1.0.2n OMMU group 34: [10de:1d81] 3b:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GV100 [TITAN V] (rev a1) [10de:10f2] 3b:00.1 Audio device: NVIDIA Corporation Device 10f2 (rev a1) IOMMU group 65: [10de:1d81] af:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GV100 [TITAN V] (rev a1) [10de:10f2] af:00.1 Audio device: NVIDIA Corporation Device 10f2 (rev a1) The system will run one Win10 and one Linux VM with each working one dedicated GPU. Usually its windows that cause problems (Im not a windows expect, more than 10 years since I used it as my main OS). So linux goes to black screen. Windows has card "3b:00.0" and Linux "af:00.0" Linux is: http://releases.ubuntu.com/18.04/ fully updated and the VM config is: <domain type='kvm'> <name>Ubuntu1804BG</name> daemonix
problem solved! ether but a random sequence of steps that I dont remenber... or by installing NVidia drivers for linux on the systems before booting for the first time with passthrough. Quote Link to comment
