August 11, 201015 yr Gigabyte GZPH1A30 ATX Mid-Tower Case - ATX/Micro ATX, USB, No PSU, Black $19.99 + shipping I mainly chose this case because it has four 5.25" bays while remaining relatively small. The case's dimensions are 13.78" x 7.09" x 16.54". I plan on filling it with two 3-in-2's that I have laying around. Looks like I'll have to flatten some tabs in the 5.25" area, but that's no big deal. Hopefully that phantom DVD bay comes off easily. Newegg has the same case with a fixed shipping rate. For me the TigerDirect one came out to about $28 after shipping, about $5 cheaper than the Newegg option. Depending on where you live, however, the Newegg one may be cheaper.
September 1, 201015 yr Author Same case, same price. I used this case to build my 6 drive minibox prototype (write-up coming soon). It was pretty decent for a $20 case. The front looks a bit better than I expected. The massive blue LED power light is a bit much, but you could always leave it unplugged.
September 2, 201015 yr It looks like it might be mod to 6 exposed bays. It's pretty tall but that allows for a full ATX board and there are some with 8 or 9 sata ports.
