And the first FAQ you see when you click on the pricing link is: Quote How do I purchase a registration key? Registration keys are purchased after you download and install the software to your server.

We have you purchase through the unRAID OS webGUI for 2 main reasons: It saves you from having to manually enter a 27-character GUID string. Even using select/copy/paste this is error prone. It proves that unRAID OS runs on your hardware. This eliminates a huge number of refund requests.
January 20, 20206 yr If i buy a key locked to the GUID of a key, what happens if the USB key is damaged or destroyed or stolen???

You can do an automated transfer to another one once a year (and the old one then gets blacklisted). If for any reason you need one sooner that then you need to contact Limetech via email. Make sure you have a backup (obtained by clashing on the flash drive on the Main tab) any time you make a significant configuration change as this makes it very easy to transition to a new USB drive with all your configuration details intact.
