rott Posted April 19, 2018 Share Posted April 19, 2018 I am planning on starting a new build in the case I just bought was looking at this board can some one tell me if it worth $200 and will it last me a couple of years for my unraid needs Plex, VM's automating getting TV and movies and also other stuff I have not thought of yet Supermicro H8SGL-F Motherboard + AMD 6272 16x core G34 2.1ghz combo Quote Link to comment

This processor was introduced back in 2011 and is a bit long in the tooth. While it has a pile of cores, the passmark per core is definitely on the low end for decent performance. I would be hesitant to be actually spending cold, hard cash for it. Quote Link to comment
