Where are encyption settings

Featured Replies

I just booted up unraid 6.5.0 and I do not have encyption settings anywhere.

This is a trail license.  not sure if that makes a difference.

I would like to start of with encrypted drives so if someone could help out that would be great.

Thanks

There isn't a settings page, as such. You enable encryption from the Main page by choosing an encrypted filesystem which then gives you access to the necessary options.

That is the settings page.

My UI does not look like that.  Under Settings -> Disks, i have chose the default file system to be "xfs-encyrpted" but that also did not have the encryption options show up.

Here is my Settings page,  which most resembles the page in that forum post.

There is no way to format and encrypt that drive, if i do not put a passphrase or key into the encryption settings correct?
