Using my VM with a monitor

Featured Replies

Hello there,

Ive just created a windows 10 VM for my unraid server and wanted to connect a monitor for the VM to use so i can use windows 10 directly from the monitor, the only option for graphics card i have in my VM settings is VNC.

Any help would be greatly apreciated!

You need to add another video card to pass through to the VM

You have to have hardware that supports hardware pass through to do this.     If you click on the Info option in the unRAID GUI does it say IOMMU is enabled or disabled?    You cannot do hardware pass through unless it is enabled.     You need the appropriate support in both your CPU and motherboard to have this available.   If you give details of your motherboard and CPU you should get feedback on whether you have appropriate hardware.
