August 13, 201015 yr Please add ASUS ATK0110 to included hwmon chips. A lot of ASUS mobos have been using this chip for hw monitoring. BTW, I just figured out that if coretemp is loaded, it blocks asus_atk0110.ko.... so building in coretemp into the kernel instead of a module is a problem.
August 13, 201015 yr Author You want coretemp as a module as well then? Yes -- it has to be for the asus module to work. I'm working on sysstat graphics for temps and such, as well as for alerting. Coretemp reports wrong numbers on asus mobos with the atk0110.
September 22, 201213 yr Ok so totally resurrecting this but I can see that asus_atk0110 is indeed listed in /lib/modules as is coretemp. Unfortunatly all I get is this root@Tower:~# modprobe asus_atk0110 FATAL: Error inserting asus_atk0110 (/lib/modules/3.4.11-unRAID/kernel/drivers/hwmon/asus_atk0110.ko): Device or resource busy This was right after a reboot and verifying that it87 and k8temp were not still loaded. Sooo what am I missing. Is it perhaps because K10temp seems to be loaded? root@Tower:~# lsmod Module Size Used by md_mod 45925 2 xor 11589 1 md_mod sg 13302 0 k10temp 1939 0 powernow_k8 11081 1 hwmon 861 1 k10temp mperf 795 1 powernow_k8 ahci 16977 4 libahci 13817 1 ahci atiixp 1792 0 r8168 223272 0 root@Tower:~# sensors No sensors found! Make sure you loaded all the kernel drivers you need. Try sensors-detect to find out which these are.
