How do I capture diagnostics command line?

Featured Replies

I did quick search and can’t find a definitive answer.   My randomly crashes.  I have been using same hardware for a long time with arch Linux.  Never had any issues.

Since putting unraid on system, I have had a couple situations where GUI locks up.  Or system just locks up.

Yesterday was moving files using krusader rearranging folders to better organization.  Was remote via ssh

system is completely locked. I can not ssh back in and I will not be home for a couple days so this is bad.  I will run home to

reboot system which is very inconvinient.

I want to capture what what I can before reboot so I can troubleshoot what is causing my lock ups.

Thanks in advance! .

We would much rather have the complete diagnostics zip instead of just the syslog. Searching often doesn't seem to work very well here unfortunately. But there are plenty of answers in the pinned topics at the top of many of the subforums. For example, near the top of this same subforum is this "sticky":

For your case, another thing that might be useful is the Fix Common Problems plugin running Troubleshooting Mode:
