schilling3003
I am new to unRaid, and still in my trial period. Over the past few weeks I have come home to my array stopped and at the bottom left of the screen it says: Array Stopped: Too Many Devices I have 5 drives. 1x 64gb cache drive, 1x 4gb cache drive and 3x 4gb storage drives Quote Link to comment

acozad1
Hello, I am super new and building my first Unraid system. I finally got my new rig to load Unraid and trying to set things up. I seems that I cannot load any drives to Unraid. I am getting an error, "Array stopped to many devices". I have 8 @ 8tb and 1 @ 10tb and 2 @ 1tb Samsung ssd. All connect to a Iocrest controller model SI-PEX 40094. Please let me know what files you want to see. I can really use some guidance to mount drives tower-diagnostics-20190322-1707.zip Edited March 23, 2019 by acozad1 documents Quote Link to comment

acozad1
So now, I bypassed my controller and attached 4 @ 8tb wd red drives to my motherboard controller. I now have array stopped: Stale configuration. Quote Link to comment

acozad1
What type of controller would you recommend that can handle this amount of drives? Thank you again for your help Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Any LSI with a SAS2008/2308/3008 chipset in IT mode, e.g., 9201-8i, 9211-8i, 9207-8i, 9300-8i, etc and clones, like the Dell H200/H310 and IBM M1015, these latter ones need to be crossflashed. Quote Link to comment
