Newbie with Dell R430 SSD server needs help

I'm new to to the community.  I have a dell r430 with ssd drives and a perc controller.  What do I need to do with the native Perc setup on this server?  Is there a way to disable the onboard raid perc controller and still have pass through access to the drives?  Also, I tried to create multiple USB drives with the unraid on it and it won't boot.  Lastly, can I use the onboard dual slot SD card slots for the unraid system?

    Have you bought one of the compatible USBs listed on this page? (https://lime-technology.com/hardware-requirements/)

    Quite a few brands of USB can't be registered with Unraid meaning it wont allow you to purchase a licence or use a trial key
