easy to add option for start dockers after...

Hi,

if you have many dockers or many vms and unraid restarts, it takes a big amount of time and it will probably start first unnesccesary things, instead of e.g. first the firewall.

I suggest you can add a delay in template for VMs and Dockers so you can, if you want, let some things start later.

Thanks... but... vms?

So i tried this plugin and i must say.. its crap.

I use unraid since months, (without any problems) but this plugin was able to shutdown my buisness 2 times in 2 days.

CRAP.

One time in the middle of the night, nothing in logs, all dockers closed.

Besides the "complicated" settings where u need to move one time at a time thru all your dockers... xD so bad..

Today at 11 after docker update it didnt restarted the containers, i dont kn ow how much reputation i lost becuase of this ****** :(

We need an good option in unraid itself, for dockers and vms.

Funny, tons of other have managed to use without issue. Myself included.

Definitely not the fault of the autostart manager.

Knock yourself out on creating a replacement

Different plugin.  And on that score, you'd have to post your diagnostics so I'd be able to see what happened.

I'm sorry but this post warrants a reply.  Since you've been on the forum you've made numerous suggestions, some more sensible than others, but seem to find it very easy to suggest everyone else makes things better and even easier to suggest people like @Squid who puts in countless hours working on his plugins for you to use, for free, that they spend even longer coding things to your specification.

Don't like it, don't use it, write your own damn plugin, but this just comes across as ungrateful and quite frankly, rude.

If you're running your business on it, and it's so critical and the plugins aren't doing what you need, and you, despite suggesting several things are "easy" have yet to contribute anything back to the community, then I suggest you contract someone to write you something rather than relying on volunteer open source developers to fulfill your needs.

Like others have mentioned, many of us manage to use Unraid without issue and at some point, we have to start to wonder how much is the fault of Unraid, plugin, container or whether the PEBKAC error is coming into play here.  But seeing as you failed to post any logs I guess we'll never know.

So many answers... if i would get them when i suggest something. But sadly mostly its just like all try to destroy my idea instead of tryin together to make it better.

Anyway, clarification: I dont run a buisness, with reputation i mean storj reputation (like uptime, bw, timeouts). I run 13 Storj nodes. U can see them in the ranking when u search for unraid.

Like i said, i run unraid now for a very long time (atleast some months) dockers never stopped until i installed this plugin. Thats all i can say. I relay on the storj nodes (and the rest dockers) to be startet or e.g. i cant access my homenetwork at all when im not home. (which i would like)

I dont know what i could have done wrong (and since there is no todo list or something...)

Squid please dont get it personally. I apprentiate every plugin, docker, unraid and everyones work here. But if something is not working, then its just not working.

Its hard for me to write with you guys, because we say like shit (scheiße) in germany, but its normal, no one would be offended, thats why i said crap.. :)

I farmed the reputation for storj for like months, and every downtime removes my reputation, which is very sad... :(

OVER ALL :

I WOULD LOVE / LIKE TO DO MY OWN PLUGINS AND SCRIPTS (or help you with yours), YOU CAN BE SURE ABOUT THIS.

But im unable. I just have good suggestions. (some of them even got implemented into factorio :) )

This i fixxed together with the author. He helped me to get into the docker container and look at entrypoint scripts and such things, which was very interesting. So, i do learn new things.

So if we said your ideas are crap you wouldn't be offended. OK, I think we know how to proceed now.
