Hi,

I was thinking about buying an unRAID licence to run on my newly built server. If I ever need to upgrade the hardware, can I reactivate my licence or do I have to buy a new one?

    The license is tied to the USB flash device used to boot unRAID OS.  You can plug that device into any server h/w, but in must remain plugged in whenever unRAID OS is running because vital config data is kept on the flash.
