ajeffco
Hello, Using Beta-2 I've added a second drive to my unraid setup. When I browse the shares on that device now, in addition to the three I had already created, there's not a fourth share called "disk2", which I didn't add. Is this to be expected? I don't see a shared with this name in the shares list, only the three I originally created. Link to comment
ajeffco
Indeed, there's a stanza in the /etc/samba/smb-shares.conf for the newly added disk. [disk2] path = /mnt/disk2 comment = Disk share browseable = yes # Public public = yes writeable = yes I did copy files to one of the shares I created, and when I click into the disk2 share, I see the folder structure with files. Not sure if this is expected behavior. If I edit the /etc/samba/smb-shares.conf files and remove it, will the share come back on reboot? Link to comment

Joe L.
On the main web-interface page, click on the "disk2" name (far right side of screen) You see the "disk" share options. Change it to be hidden, or not shared at all, and then save it. (I have my "disk" shares all set to read/write, but hidden, so I can copy files there, but they do not show in my Media Servers) Link to comment
