[SOLVED] Converting a cache drive from RFS to XFS

Featured Replies

I've been reading a bunch of the documentation around converting the rest of my array to XFS, but I haven't seen much more than a passing word about converting the cache drive to xfs from rfs (or to BTRFS if that's gotten more stable since).  I'm doing the prep work to use https://lime-technology.com/wiki/File_System_Conversion to convert the rest of the array.

I figure now's the time to do it since I just upgraded to 6.5.1 and I have not yet added much in the way of dockers or plugins or whatnot...

What am I missing?  Do you just offline/convert/online/format?  I see a few docker related files out there already, I'm guessing it'll break the installation?

You can use this procedure, just format cache instead of replace.

Feeling a bit silly now, that makes sense, and worked just fine.  Thank you, much appreciated.
