Unraid and WIndows 10

Recommended Posts

Today I had to reinstall Windows 10 on my PC.  Now I can't seem to access my unraid shares.  I tried to map to them via \\10.0.1.100.  Asking for user name and password.  I tried root and get access denied.
Root has no access to shares. You need to give it the username you've created on unraid

I haven't made any users.  I used root in the past to just access my shares.

Some of more general items that folks have had issues with are discussed here

How did you do the reinstall and what is the current version and built  that you are running?  (There are currently four supported MS versions and several different built levels in each...)

I reinstalled windows 10 yesterday and I was pulling my hair out for a few hours trying to connect to my unraid server. I ended up getting it working finally but I had to go into windows credentials and enter my unraid user name and password manually. After that I got right in.
