My server lost all 3.5" HDDs but keep 2.5" SSDs

Featured Replies

All was fine with 10T parity, 10T array and 1x512G SSD cache. Today, I wanted to add another identical 512G SSD to cache pool. Stopped docker, VM and moved all data off cache to the array. Then, powered off the server, added the second SSD to the server.  And  booted. From that moment on unRAID cannot recognize any of 3.5" hard drives no matter what I throw at it.

Changed from built in SATA controller to 9207-8i PCIe. Tried other 3.5" HDD. Changed USB flash to other USB port (USB2 and 3). Booted to the spare BIOS. Result is the same. Looks to me a hardware problem (a new HP ML150 Gen9), but still I would appreciate your advice.

Even if I install just 1x 3.5" which was not used previously, unRAID main screen comes up empty.

All the best.

No disks detected, check if they are detected in the bios, if not they wont be detect by unRAID either.

I would be double checking the power leads and power connectors to the hard drives.
