[Solved][6.5.1] GA-N3150N-D3V - No eth interfaces loaded

Hi,

 

I'm trying to install unraid on my GA-N3150N-D3V mainboard with N3150 cpu and dual realtek gigabit ethernet interaces. Unraid boots fine but LAN interfaces are not loaded.

 

I wasn't able to find which exact realtek chip is used. Could it be a driver issue ? Any idea on how to fix this ?

Edit: In the end the issue was a bad USB drive. Using another one and everything worked just fine.

The two NICs are enabled in the BIOS. I tried to disable one to have only one active NIC but it still doesn't show up in unraid.

NICs are detected but no driver loaded, you'll need to make a feature request so LT can add it.

Some popular USB ethernet adapters have drivers loaded in unraid.

The RTL8111 seems to be a common choice on modern  low and mid-spec motherboards. It would be useful for it to be supported. I'm surprised it isn't already.

According to VID/PID the controller is the same but not the 'subsystem'. What's exactly the 'subsystem' ?

It's normal for the subsystem to be different, strange the driver isn't loading.

You can try loading the module manually with modprobe. I have no idea if it will work or not.
